An aluminum profile production enterprise’s original aluminum liquid purification process could not meet the requirements. The impurities in the aluminum liquid caused surface defects, internal pores, and other problems during the aluminum profile forming process, seriously affecting the product’s appearance quality and mechanical properties. Solution
The customer used casting filter combination bags and installed them in the launder section before aluminum liquid casting. At the same time, the launder design was optimized to ensure that the aluminum liquid flowed evenly through the filter mesh, avoiding local excessive flow rates that could damage the filter mesh or lead to insufficient filtration.
