Hyde depoulveration solutions ceramic and colours industry - Air and Climate - Air Pollution Treatment
Purification plants and collection of dust-combustion fumes from blast furnaces and compound preparation. In this sector our company has already installed and is operating various plants all over the world, with excellent results. The fumes extracted at 850° C from the various blast furnace chimneys are initially cooled then conveyed through a main collector to an multi-tube exchanger to reduce the temperature further to about 180° C, and consequently to a dry sleeve filter (single or separate cell).The entire system is kept compressed by a centrifugal fan positioned upstream.
The dust and gas pollutants, passing through the filter sleeves, are totally abated. In fact, the dust is held by the sleeves’ filtering material, whereas the gas is neutralised by the injection of powder additives into the fluid. The additives deposit on the sleeve surfaces, forming a contact barrier. The collected dust and saturated additives fall into the hopper underneath, and are then expelled from the machine through an auger and star valve into a Big-Bag. The waste material can occasionally be recycled within the production unit, or disposed of as special waste. All the plants have self-regulating electronic instruments, which automatically check all processing changes. Results obtained:
- Dust and toxic gas extraction capacity reaches 99%.
- The efficiency of the electronic monitoring instruments allows constant and continuous long-term plant operation, besides guaranteeing minimum electricity consumption (constantly adapted to the consumption of methane in blast furnaces).
- The continuous extraction from each furnace’s chimney is measured against methane consumption, improving combustion and furnace yield.
- Plants are designed and constructed according to EU regulations.
