High volumes of dust, often extending over large areas, present a major challenge for the operators of opencast mines. If weather conditions are dry and windy, the dust will affect not only the workforce but also entire housing estates in the vicinity. The sources of dust at open-pit facilities are frequently distributed over very large expanses. With their large projection range, EmiControls dust-laying sprayers are the ideal solution.
