The smart skimmer addresses the common problems of storm water and other non-point source application. The smart skimmer continually skims the surface of the sump accumulating any oil it encounters, when there is a sufficient accumulation of oil, the oil pump will turn on delivering only oil to the collection tank. No additional separator is required. Oil accumulation and removal continues until there is no more oil to be collected.
