The smart skimmer addresses the common problems of storm water and other non-point source application. Often in inaccessible locations, with unknown quantities and quality of product, the smart skimmer provides the ideal solution. The smart skimmer continually skims the surface of the sump accumulating any oil it encounters, when there is a sufficient accumulation of oil, the oil pump will turn on delivering only oil to the collection tank. No additional separator is required. Oil accumulation and removal continues until there is no more oil to be collected. The smart skimmers controls can be easily tied into plant’s main controls and can included reporting functions for compliance requirements.
