Trilite - Ion Exchange Resin for Water Treatment - Water and Wastewater - Water Treatment
Water softeners and demineralization devices used in water treatment can be configured in various ways depending on factors such as the type of ion exchange resin filled in a resin tower, layer, direction of flow/regeneration, and combination of resin towers. Various options are available to correspond to raw water and treated water, etc.
Water softeners use cation exchange resins to reduce the concentration of calcium and magnesium ions in raw water. Hardness components in water can form calcium and magnesium scales, which can cause problems in the system. The SAC exchange resin used in this case is regenerated using a regenerant, and in cases where the TDS or hardness level of the raw water is high, a WAC exchange resin is used in combination. Demineralization devices can lower the concentration of all cations and anions in raw water by using cation and anion exchange resins. Continuous operation can produce high-purity water by reducing the TDS in raw water.
TRILITE® ion exchange resins offer a product lineup that shows optimal efficiency in various types and combinations of water softeners/demineralization devices, providing high operating capacity and excellent physical and chemical strength for a cost-effective performance.
