Ahead of Kumbh, 4 Hi-Tech techniques to purify water

Keeping the upcoming Kumbh at the fore-front, Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam is all set to purify dirty river water with the help of four techniques of water purifications. As a pilot project, the techniques with implemented in the drains of Lucknow that open up into the Gomti.

The first such technique of Geotube was recently set up for a pilot study in Kukrail drain. The second on-Oil Spill Eater (OSE II), and enzyme produced by a US company was implemented in the arts college drain near Mankameshwar temple on Wednesday.
