How are Cypher’s products applied?
Are you in the market for a dust control and/or soil stabilization product? When evaluating different dust control and soil stabilization products, one factor to consider is the ease of application.
Cypher’s DUST/BLOKR® and ROAD//STABILIZR® are shipped in a concentrated form, mixed with water on-site and at the time of application. Once mixed, our products can be applied using standard road construction equipment.
DUST/BLOKR® dust control application can be done topically or mixed into the top 2 – 3” (about 50 – 75mm) layer of the road surface. The concentrated product is first diluted in water and applied to the road surface using a water truck with a spray bar. For mix-in applications, the product also requires a grader and a pneumatic rubber wheel compactor (recommended but can be replaced by any equipment with rubber tires).
DUST/BLOKR® is shipped in pressure-tested totes that can be cleaned for reuse or recycled.
ROAD//STABILIZR® must be combined with proper construction techniques and protocols. Equipment required includes a grader, water truck, vibratory steel drum compactor, pulverizing reclaimer/mixer (optional) and a pneumatic rubber wheel compactor (recommended but can be replaced by any equipment with rubber tires).
