Log Cabin did not previously have a wastewater treatment plant however new development made the facilities necessary. Santec provided a turn-key system to the City of log Cabin along with a 3 year effluent quality and a 1 year equipment warranty.
Log Cabin Wastewater Treatment Plant has a treatment capacity of 83,000 gpd and serves the city of Log Cabin, Texas. It utilizes an aeration process including a single-stage combined carbon oxidation-nitrification. The plant design utilizes multiple aeration basins in series to create environments desirable for aerobic biological reactions within the treatment process. Effluent from the process goes through a chlorine disinfection system before storage in an effluent pond adjacent to the facility. Effluent is pumped from the pond and used for irrigation.
