3M™ Peltor™ X3A Over-the-Head Earmuffs, Hearing Conservation ,10 EA/Case. The X-Series earmuffs are 3M’s latest advancement in hearing conservation. New technologies in comfort, design and protection all come together in this groundbreaking earmuff line. The X3A features a newly designed spacer to help improve attenuation without the need for a much larger cup or double cup design. This lightweight earmuff is designed for protection against hig H-level industrial noise and other loud sounds. It features an electrically insulated wire headband, often referred to as “dielectric”. The wire headband offers consistent pressure over prolonged wearing periods. Earcup pivot points tilt for optimum comfort and efficiency. Replaceable ear cushions and foam liners (hygiene kit HYX3). New technologies in comfort, design and protection all come together in this groundbreaking earmuff line. The X5A earmuffs offer the highest NRR (31 dB) for an earmuff on the market which makes them ideal for very high noise situations. The high attenuation delivered by X5A earmuffs is possible as a result of a combination of advanced technologies including: newly designed spacers, specially formulated earcup liners and innovative foam contained in the cushions.
