The electric diaphragm pump, called ABEL EM, is an advantageous alternative to conventional pump technology for many applications in the low-pressure applications and suitable for numerous process and transport applications and industries. It is an electric double diaphragm pump (EODD) with very high energy efficiency and does not require expensive compressed air. The EODD pump series is an excellent alternative to conventional pumps in the range up to 0.8 MPa, as it is considerably smaller and less expensive. The ABEL EM series is available in four different material designs: nodular cast iron (SG), stainless steel (ED) or polypropylene (PP). Using suitable, durable materials for diaphragms, valve seats and balls will give you the best possible combination of materials for your application.

Specialized diaphragm pumps for difficult media. ABEL CM piston diaphragm pumps are single or double-acting pumps that are used for difficult media. They are highly resistant to wear, even when used at high pressures over an extended period of time. Their true double-diaphragm technology offers a high degree of safety. When used as a pump for feeding filter presses, the rugged, automatic flow rate control (which does not use complex electronics) is another impressive feature that makes it even more reliable. ABEL compact diaphragm pumps are characterized by particularly smooth running, which results from the choice of valve material. CM pumps are supplied with polyurethane valve balls and polyethylene or polyurethane seats as standard. Of course, many other combinations are available. Cone valves are also available as an alternative to ball valves.

Medium Flow Rates: The double-acting pump (HMD) is suitable for applications up to 90 m3/h (400 GPM) and 10 MPa (1450 psi). In this performance range, typical applications are the feeding of filter presses and spray dryers and the transport of various media. If required, the HMD is also available in ATEX design.

The Pump for high Flow Rates: The ABEL HMQ has 4 preformed diaphragms and thus is designed for higher performance ranges than the HMD and HMT. The HMQ come to the fore when large volumes (up to 410 m3/h - 1805 GPM) of abrasive materials need to be transferred under high-pressure (up to 25 MPa -3625 psi) conditions. This applies in particular to slurries with a high mineral content, such as in mining.

The Solution for high-pressure Applications: The piston diaphragm pump for more extreme pumping applications up to 210 m3/h (905 PM) - up to 25 MPa (3625 psi). It is a single-acting, slow-running triplex piston diaphragm pump. High operating pressures in connection with increased flow rates place particularly high demands on the pump. When abrasive materials with an increased SC-content are present, many industrial partners decide on an ABEL HMT. For solids transfer, the ABEL HMT provides a clever solution to pumping suspensions that have high dry substance content and a high specific weight. The strong points of the HMT are its quiet operation (low residual pulsation) because the crankshaft has a crank offset of 120° which gives it a steadier volumetric flow.

The high-pressure pump has been an integral part of the ABEL pump portfolio for decades. ABEL high-pressure pumps are single-acting triplex high-pressure pumps. The HP series provides our customers with a plunger pump that has proven itself thousands of times worldwide, especially for filter cloth cleaning in chamber and membrane filter presses. In process technology, ABEL HPT high pressure plunger pumps show a technological edge when used rigorously over a longer period of time. And that applies for quite varied media, such as salt water and salt solutions, acids, margarine, chemicals, and even slightly contaminated fluids. The bellow-type seal of the ABEL HPT pump reliably protects the gear against contamination by dirt.

ABEL SH solids handling pumps span a wide performance range and are also suited for a large number of pumping media and applications. These high pressure pumps really prove their worth when extremely abrasive, paste-like and compact media (e.g. dehydrated sewage sludge) have to be conveyed safely at high pressure. At ABEL, this high-capacity pump has extra wall thickness and a large intake valve, which, when combined with a very good filling ratio, produce a service life that is longer than the norm.

ABEL filter press feed pumps have been used since the 1960s for chamber filter presses. Many thousands of these piston diaphragm pumps have been in operation in a variety of industries since then. Meanwhile, ABEL pumps are available for all types of filter presses and plate sizes. Most often this application treats wastewater or neutralized sludge - but also chemical slurry or galvanizing slurry as well as many others are dewatered.
