An important element of many environmental remediation projects is the isolation and segregation of contaminated soil or water. Abscope is experienced and proficient in installing a variety of watertight sheeting and vertical barrier walls. Whether working with proprietary systems such as GundWall or Waterloo barriers or other standard sheetpile or shoring systems, we customize the installation as needed to meet site-specific project objectives. For example, we have developed customized driving mandrels to meet project challenges.

Environmental cleanup of sites with hazardous or contaminated constituents routinely requires treatment of soils. Abscope can either treat contaminated soils in place (in situ treatment) or excavate impacted soils and treat soils at the site through various alternatives (ex situ treatment), avoiding disposal costs.

Both public and private entities have been under increasing pressure to deal more effectively with asbestos-containing materials. As facilities are demolished, rebuilt, or rehabilitated, asbestos-containing building materials need to be dealt with responsibly.

Abscope`s aboveground storage tank (AST) and underground storage tank (UST) services include decontaminations and closures for a wide range of commercial, industrial, municipal, and residential clients. We capably cover every aspect of the tank closure process, including correspondence and coordination with regulatory agencies; removal, transport, and disposal of liquid and solid waste; sampling and analysis; and closure report preparation.
