NJ/PA/DE Asbestos Worker (Initial Course)
This four-day course is required for individuals working in asbestos abatement. It provides comprehensive instruction on the practices and procedures utilized in asbestos abatement work, as well as knowledge of the relevant regulations. Individuals will understand the potential for health hazards and how to work safely and efficiently in a way that will safeguard themselves and the public from exposure.
NJ/PA Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor (Initial Course)
This five-day course is required for the training of individuals that supervise asbestos abatement projects. This program also satisfies the requirements of OSHA for the trainee to function as a Competent Person on an asbestos abatement project. The supervisor course addresses EPA, OSHA, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania state regulations for asbestos abatement projects. Any company interested in asbestos abatement must have a licensed supervisor on staff to become a licensed company. It is also ideal training for building owners, regulatory officials, industrial technicians, and safety officers who need to be knowledgeable of the details of abatement projects. AHERA Asbestos Bldg. Inspector OR Mngmt. Planner (Initial Course)
The Asbestos Building Inspector Course is a 3 day course. This three-day course is required for individuals to obtain an EPA AHERA building inspector license. These individuals may perform building surveys by taking samples of suspect asbestos-containing materials. It covers the skills of performing asbestos inspections in schools and public/commercial buildings. A state license is required in certain states.
