ACME - Model ACRS Series - Automatic Scraper Strainer
The ACME Automatic Scraper Strainer has been designed to remove solids from 150mm in size down to 75-micron particles. The general literature piece describes the various connection options available as well as the advantages of a scraper strainer over a backwash strainer. These strainers are available with connections from 1″ up to 48″ in fabricated carbon steel, stainless steel, and various alloys such as Alloy 20 and Monel.
ACME - Automatic Backwash Strainer
The ACME Automatic Backwash Strainer has been designed to remove solids from 25mm in size down to 30-micron particles. The general literature piece describes the various connection options available as well as the advantages of the Acme backwash arm design over that of competing manufacturers.
ACME - Basket Type Strainers
The ACME Basket strainer consists of a removable screen that can easily be removed from the top. Basket Strainers are used to trap suspended solids and particulate too large to be caught by most filter media. Basket strainers temporarily disrupt?a?system?when cleaning is required.
ACME - Model ACRS L-Series - Direct Replacement of VRS Units
ACRS L-Series Automatic Scraper Strainers are custom built to your specifications. Available in various sizes and materials with a helical scraper or linear blade and brush design, these units are the ideal choice to replace existing backwash strainers that are not performing properly. We have designs to replace RP Adams, SP Kinney, Hayward/Eaton 596 and 2596, Tate Andale, and most other vessels with in-line nozzles.
