ACoP L8 Water Compliance Services

If you have responsibility for any water systems, then you have an obligation to consider, assess and manage the risk from Legionella bacteria arising from these areas. You will be required to develop policies and procedures to ensure full compliance with the requirements of the Health & Safety Commissions (HSC) Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) L8 ‘The Control of Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems’ which is enforced by the Health & Safety at Work Act and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).

Water Treatment Services

adi Environmental provide bespoke water treatment services to cover all requirements found within the industrial and commercial market place in order to prevent Legionella bacteria colonisation and the risk of Legionnaires disease occurring. adi are able to design and build full treatment programmes and systems to any specification suitable for site specific applications, along with the provision of cost effective water treatment programmes to comply with cooling water and steam best practice. Our programmes are supported by field based technical support staff who can provide on-site support from routine testing and sampling through to full asset management.

Air Quality Services

Under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, Workplace (Health, Safety & Welfare) Regulations and Occupier’s Liability Act 1984, all employers have duty of care to provide a safe, comfortable and healthy working environment. adi Environmental provides a range of air analysis and assessments that can be used to confirm that the air quality is being maintained at an acceptable hygienic and physical standard, as well as ensuring that the building complies with current legislation and guidelines – CIBSE Guide TM26, HVCA TR19, HSG 132, CIBSE Guide A and HTM03.01.

Engineering Service

adi Environmental combine the knowledge of process and utility water requirements and can design and build pre-treatment plant, dosing and control systems to suit any type of water treatment requirement.
