Equipment - Compact Wastewater Treatment Plants

Adipur - Compact Wastewater Treatment Plants

The ADIPUR compact wastewater treatment plant is one main product of our company. ADIPUR is intended for advanced treatment (it also reduces nitrogen and phosphorus) of the urban wastewater and of the domestic wastewater in urban areas with an aproximate number of 6.000 equivalent inhabitants. In particular cases these plants can expand to treating urban wastewater for up to 12.000 inhabitants.

Equipment - Process Equipment Water and Wastewater Treatment

Adipur - Screens and Fine Screens

The retention, washing, transport and initial dewatering of the coarse matter is a crucial first step in primary treatment to ensure that the complex series of physical, chemical and biological processes within the WWTP operate efficiently. Additional washing of coarse retentions is important to reintroduce organics to the biological treatment. Our range of screens and fine screens is complete, ensuring the perfect solution in any conditions and at any flow rate.

Adipur - Water Treatment Solutions: Sand Filtration, Carbon Filtration, and Ultrafiltration Membranes

Advanced water treatment can be done by sand filtration, active carbon filtration, microretention with or without ultrafiltration membranes. The addition of these stages leads to significant improvement in water quality by removing suspended micropollutants from previous treatment stages or even untreated water. It is particularly helpful when there are strict limits to be achieved for certain pollutants or before other water treatment processes. It is a fast, efficient and economical solution to obtain an effluent free of suspended solids and to remove oxygen-consuming substances. Carbon filtration can be used before ozonation.

Adipur - Sand Separation and Washing Fat Removal Separator

Increasing the reliability of the purification process, the separation of organic matter from mineral materials or other types of solids is crucial. Effective separation of solids prevents operational issues such as their settling in aeration tanks and digesters. It also reduces equipment wear, such as pumps or sludge dewatering installations, by avoiding clogging in pump suction pipes and sludge pipelines.

Adiss - Spiral Conveyors for Solids Handling

The transport of coarse, fine, or compacted solids, sludge, sand, and industrial process solids can be achieved using enclosed spiral conveyors, trough conveyors with covers, or belt conveyors. These can be sized, designed, and manufactured according to the client`s needs and requirements. Spiral conveyors can be equipped with a pushing or pulling device, feeding or discharge openings, and can be interconnected. They are exclusively made of stainless steel. For outdoor installations, conveyors can be provided with frost protection and additional insulation. The mounting angle can go up to 90°.

Adiss - Scraper Bridge

Primary settling is designed to capture gravitationally settleable suspended substances that have passed through sand separators and grease separators. The retained substances are referred to as primary sludge. The materials retained together with the primary sludge include suspended solids and organic substances expressed as the five-day biochemical oxygen demand (SS and BOD5). Secondary settling aims to capture the biologically produced sludge in activated sludge basins and separate the sludge from the treated water. Secondary settlers are positioned downstream of the biological treatment. We have 20 years of experience in sizing, designing, and manufacturing a complete range of scraper bridges for primary and secondary settlers with diameters up to 60 m.

Equipment - For Complete Treatment of Sludge

Adiss - Sludge Pretreatment Equipment

Pretreatment of sludge is necessary to prevent subsequent disruption of processes and protect sludge treatment equipment. Our equipment is efficient and reliable, capable of removing solids such as stones, plastics, hair, and fibers. The sludge must not contain pollutant solids.

Adiss - Sludge Thickening Equipment

Sludge thickening is a preliminary treatment of sludge, the simplest and most widely used method to reduce its volume. Thickening increases the dry substance concentration of the sludge and removes sludge water, thereby reducing moisture. Thickening is required for sludge resulting from aeration tanks or biological filters, as they have low dry substance concentration, and thickening enhances the efficiency of the subsequent dewatering process.

Adiss - Dewatering Sludge Equipment

Dewatering follows the thickening process in sequence. Dewatering increases the dry matter concentration of the sludge to 25-35% and removes more water from the sludge, which significantly reduces the volume of this waste. Since the sludge contains organic matter, nutrients, the main way of capitalizing it is to use it in agriculture to ameliorate or improve the quality of degraded lands.

Adipur - Sludge Dryer

Sludge disposal is becoming more and more difficult. For political reasons, in the long term, the option of utilizing sludge on agricultural land is on a downward trend, especially due to residues composed of substances specific to the pharmaceutical industry. Sludge must be transported long distances to available disposal facilities. Sludge drying reduces transport and disposal costs, contributing to sustainable resource conservation. With a positive carbon dioxide balance, dry sludge is an increasingly sought after energy source. Combining incineration with sludge drying is energy neutral.
