Hazardous Area Oil in Water
Advanced Sensors - Model X-One - Next Generation of Process Analysers
The Advanced Sensors X-One is the next generation of its incredibly successful EX range of analysers for oil in water measurements. It expands on 15 years’ of design, manufacturing and service of process analysers into the harshest of environments; to deliver a new range of analysers that measure Oil in Water.
Advanced Sensors - Model EX-100/1000 - Side Stream Oil in Water Analyzer
The EX-100/1000 is a side stream Oil in Water analyzer that uses fluorescence to provide continuous accurate measurements of oil concentrations in water. Reliable real-time data enables operators to take accurate discharge measurements and to improve efficiency of separation processes enabling cost reductions. In addition to the EX-100 features, the EX-1000 model offers spectral analysis.
Advanced Sensors - Model EX-100M / 1000M - Side Stream Analyzer
The EX-100M is a side stream oil / particulate in water analyzer that combines video microscopy measurement for particle size analysis with the highly accurate Laser Induced Fluorescence oil content measurement technique. This allows measurement of Total Suspended Solids (TSS), oil droplet size and gas bubble size whilst still accurately measuring concentration of oil in water. In addition to the EX-100M features, the EX-1000M model offers spectral analysis.
Advanced Sensors - Model EX-400 - Side Stream Oil/Particulate in Water Analyzer
The EX-400M is a side stream unit that uses video microscopy to measure concentrations of oil in water, Total Suspended Solids (TSS), oil droplet size and gas bubble size, whilst still taking advantage of patented self cleaning technology to keep fouling from impacting the data gathered.
Ordinary Area Oil in Water
Advanced Sensors - Model S-One - Next Generation of Process Analysers System
The Advanced Sensors S-One is the next generation of our incredibly successful range of analysers for oil in water measurements. It expands on 15 years’ of design, manufacturing and service of process analysers into the harshest of environments; to deliver a new range of analysers that measure Oil in Water.
Hazardous & Ordinary Water Cut/ Water in Oil
Advanced Sensors - Model WIO-300S - Spool, Side-Stream & In-Line
The EX rated WiO-300S series is a Water Cut analyser that measures the amount of water in oil to high levels of accuracy. Water Cut is also referred to as Water in Oil, BS&W, OWD or WFM. The smart sensor technology uses a capacitive method to measure the percentage of water contained within the sample, with a large measurement range from a few 100ppms to 100% water.* The WiO-300S sensor is a spool section for in-line measurements from 1 to 8 inches. Sizes 1 to 3 inches are available with threaded connections.
Advanced Sensors - Model WIO-300K - Flange Spool, Side-Stream & In-Line
The EX rated WiO-300K series is a Water Cut analyser that measures the amount of water in oil to high levels of accuracy. Water Cut is also referred to as Water in Oil, BS&W, OWD or WFM. The smart sensor technology uses a capacitive method to measure the percentage of water contained within the sample, with a large measurement range from a few 100ppms to 100% water.* The WiO-300K sensor is a spool section for in-line measurements from 3 to 48 inches. The WiO-300K uses a fully flanged design. This model is made for working pressure up to Class 1500#.
Advanced Sensors - Model WIO-300P - In-Line Water Cut Analsyer System
The EX rated WiO-300P series is a Water Cut analyser that measures the amount of water in oil to high levels of accuracy. Water Cut is also referred to as Water in Oil, BS&W, OWD or WFM. The smart sensor technology uses a capacitive method to measure the percentage of water contained within the sample, with a large measurement range from a few 100ppms to 100% water.* The WiO-300P sensor is an insertion model that can be provided as a fixed length flanged unit or supplied with a kit providing retraction under pressure. Pressure class up to 1500#.

Advanced Sensors - Deep UV Fluorescence
Deep UV Fluorescence allows for the measurement of light hydrocarbons and condensates. For the measurement of hydrocarbons in water LIF laser induced fluorescence is the normal go to method. While laser induced fluorescence can measure crude and heavier oils with significant accuracy, lighter more refined oils will have limited success. The reason for this, is that lighter oils which are often found in refinery or industrial production contain aromatic hydrocarbons of less complex structures (such as single ring hydrocarbons). The fluorescence wavelength required to excite these hydrocarbons requires a much lower wavelength light than that of Laser Induced Fluorescence which is usually 405nm.
