About Us
What We Do
Have you ever needed a solution you couldn’t just buy off a shelf in a store or easily order online? We can relate. If the custom solution you need involves environmental control – temperature or humidity control, filtration, or pressurization – we can help you achieve your goals.
Air Innovations is a world leader in designing and building environmental process control systems for applications that can’t be addressed with standard HVAC equipment. We customize packaged solutions for temperature, humidity, filtration, pressurization, and with direct-expansion, chilled-water, or thermoelectric capabilities. If you want to learn more about our environmental control capabilities visit Our Areas of Expertise.
Many of Air Innovations customers fall into two categories: businesses integrating our solution into their OEM equipment or businesses requiring a complete HVAC solution. We can meet almost any need in environmental control across almost any industry with major projects in Aerospace, Military, Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences, Clean Rooms. If you want to know more about some of our projects, check out our Industries and Case Studies.
Do We Do Anything Else?
Well, yes we do.
In our experience, we’ve come across some applications for which we could create standard products to address common needs. Our standard environmental control products are used by a variety of industries from Cleanroom Systems to fine wine collectors (Wine Guardian®), from supermarket florists (Floratech®) to hospitals and treatment facilities (IsolationAir®), and from desk console manufacturers to low-temperature HVAC environments.
Who We Are – What is important to us
Innovation – We maintain a dedicated Research and Development department to create, test, and validate our engineered solutions. We continually strive for innovative solutions to customers’ problems – that’s why nearly ¼ of our staff hold engineering degrees. Learn more about our testing in our psychrometric facility.
Expertise & Learning – Our entire technical staff, from engineers to production employees, has been cross-trained on all our products and follows lean manufacturing principles that result in reduced production times.
Efficiency – Cross-training combined with the flexible workstation layout of our 40,000 ft2 facility allow us to transfer resources from product line to product line quickly and efficiently as customer purchases or design needs change.
Quality – Air Innovations’ products are certified to the safety and performance standards of ETL, UL, CSA, CE, CCC, ANSI, SEMI or MIL-STD.
Collaboration – We strongly believe in developing alliances with local universities and other organizations to help foster the development of certain technologies, which we can then incorporate into solutions for our customers.
Community – Air Innovations believes “community” means more than learning together– it also means giving back. On September 9th Air Innovations will proudly host their 9th annual golf charity fundraiser.
History of Air Innovations
Air Innovations was founded in 1986 in Syracuse, New York. From the very beginning, we adopted a philosophy of continuous growth and improvement. Over the years, this growth has come from both dramatically increased sales and by acquisition – always with a focus on delivering the best possible solutions to our customers.
Today, our product line spans across a variety of industries all over the world. Internally, we have taken steps to reduce production times by 50 percent. And through it all, we have remained true to our goal of constant advancement. In fact, in 2010 we were named one of the fastest growing privately held companies in America by Inc. magazine.
We will continue to grow as we tailor new products to the needs of our customers – and approach each and every challenge with innovation.
