About Us
Formed in 1997, Airborne Environmental Consultants Ltd (AEC) is a leading independent health, safety and environmental consultant with our head office in Trafford Park, Manchester.
AEC's head office is close to the M60 motorway, we have extensive training facilities including a practical asbestos training area and car parking for over 100 cars.
In September 2010 AEC opened our London office and moved to bigger facilities in February 2011,based in Rainham, Essex at the CEME Campus. This additional office provides all of the services provided by our Manchester Office and complements our existing offices in Sutton Weaver, Cheshire and Liverpool. AEC intend to add more offices, in Scotland and worldwide moving forward.
AEC have proven track record in providing our services to wide range of public and private sector companies.
History
AEC is a privately owned and totally independent company. Our directors have grown the company in line with their vision of providing high quality services, combined with an ethical and customer focussed approach to business.
In October 1997 Robert Harris and Amanda Reid established the company, Asbestos was the main consultancy service provided at that time. However, as staff began to join the two directors, the company developed more services and moved to progressively larger premises. Today, AEC have 100+ full time staff working in many disciplines. Many of our staff are multi-skilled and we are proud that the majority of our management team have grown with the company and developed from, in some cases, trainee consultants.
In January 2008 Debbie Clare was promoted from our management team and has become the third Director of AEC. Debbie is assisting to shape AEC's future and is heavily involved in our expansion plans. It is also true to say that AEC has an excellent track record of keeping loyal clients as well as loyal staff. Indeed one of AEC's largest clients has been with us since incorporation in 1997.
From a turnover of £90,000 in 1998 to a turnover of in excess £3 million today, AEC is growing from strength to strength, developing, enhancing and proactively changing to meet the needs and demands of its clients and of the current challenging financial markets.
