The B122 has an extra-long housing designed for use in thick-hulled, wooden boats or vessels with a steep deadrise. The included High-performance Fairing vertically orients the beam for strong return echoes, resulting in optimal performance even at higher speeds. The B17-HP, high-precision temperature sensor responds quickly and accurately to temperature changes. The 25 mm (1") bronze button on the sensor’s face along with the specialized fast-response thermistor provide a five-second time constant and ±0.3ºC (±0.17ºF) accuracy. This Smart ™ Sensor can output precision-temperature data to a fishfinder, chart plotter, digital display, or computer. The top-of-the-line B17-HP is ideal for commercial and sport-fishing applications, helping skippers detect thermal boundaries and eddies which attract bait concentrations and game fish.
