The Air Handling Unit is a device that takes the air from atmosphere or interior space,passes it through various conditions to bring to the desired climactic conditions anddirects the conditioned air to the desired location. Air handling units may beproduced in a variety of models and features according to the configuration of theprocess and characteristics of the project.

Hygienic air handling unit is designed by AIRPLUS to provide air conditioningin buildings by the means of healthy, fresh and clean air. The basic principle ofthe design can be summarized as to form a structure made of intracellularstainless steel sheet which prevents dust, dirt and accumulation and can becleaned and its cleanness can be checked.

DX coil cools the air by transferring the heat taken from the air passing through theevaporator to refrigerant with the help of compressor. To simply describe the system,a direct expansion cooling coil is adapted to an air handling unit and required numberof VRF outdoor needed by this coil is connected. While performing this operation, therefrigerant is evaporated at the source (AHU) where the heat transfer is made.During the heat transfer by conventional cooling groups (chiller / hot water boiler),heat is transferred to water first and then the heat transfer is done inside the AHU viapipes and pumps. AHU with DX coil provides air conditioning in the place withoutneed for hot water boilers thanks to its traditional cooling groups and heatpumpoperation feature.

Hygienic Series DX Air Handling Unit is designed to provide air conditioning in buildings by the means of healthy and fresh air.

Roof top compact air handling units are installed on the flat roofs or terraces of hypermarkets, shopping malls, theaters, movie theaters, recreational facilities,airports, restaurants, conference halls, factories etc.

AP-HRT series AIRPLUS Compact Type Hygienic Air Handling Units are designed to provide air conditioning with healthy and clean air in hospital and clean room applications requiring sensitive and sterile conditions. AIRPLUS Compact Type Hygienic Air Handling Units prevent bacteria and viruses from entering the sterile environment in health and food facilities, provide positive and negative pressure balance and transfer the fresh air taken from the outdoor environment to the indoor environment under necessary temperature, humidity and hygiene conditions.

At indoor swimming pools, water evaporates because of ambient conditions, pool surface area and pool activities. As a result, bacteria that form in the environment threaten human health and the structure is damaged due to high humidity. Therefore, humidity control at indoor swimming pools where intensive humidity occurs is highly important for facility users in terms of necessary hygienic conditions, human health and lifetime of building.

Double-walled hoods can be used in the kitchens, cooking and frying areas used inplaces with large-volume production such as food factories, shopping malls’restaurants and hotels. Airplus hood air handling units are suitable for double-walledhood applications and thanks to its compact structure it offers ideal solution for airconditioning by the means of ventilation and heat recovery -DX coil-outdoor unitoption. Automation is on the unit’s panel.

Inside the casing, there are water coils with aluminum fins lined on two or three rows of copper pipe according to heating capacity and dynamically balanced, quiet and non-vibrating high capacity fans connected directly to motor. Louvres on supply side are functional and decorative. Louvre blades are made from extruded aluminum profile with aerodynamic structure. Maximum air throw distance is obtained by; decreasing internal air pressure thanks to section design, choosing the optimum coil lamella pitch according to heating capacity, using high capacity fans and aerodynamic structure of louver blade. Rack feet can be used optionally for installation of wall type air heater units.

Equipment hosts HEPA filters which are used in order to ensure hygienic and homogeneous distribution of conditioned air (by the air handling units) to your sterile ambient. HEPA filter boxes are manufactured entirely with DKP sheet and they are sealed by welded. Interior and exterior surfaces are painted with RAL 9010 anti-static powder coating. On demand, they can be painted in different colors or can be made of stainless steel.
