Alabama`s Water Environment Association (AWEA)
Founded in 1928, the Water Environment Federation is a not-for-profit technical and educational organization with members from varied disciplines who work toward the WEF vision of preservation and enhancement of the global water environment. The WEF network includes more than 100,000 water quality professionals from 76 Member Associations in 30 countries. Provide technical expertise and training on issues, including non-point source pollution, hazardous waste, residuals management, and groundwater. Research and publish the latest information on wastewater treatment and water quality protection. Sponsor conferences and other special events around the world.
