AVCO - Fire Safe Ball Valve

The AVCO 1100 series ball valve is made for high performance and quality. The investment cast, precision machined, 3-piece design gives great flexibility for butt weld, socket weld, NPT, BSP and flanged ends up to ANSI class 600 or 2000 WOG. It is designed in-house to meet or exceed ASME B16.34 and fully tested to API 598. Materials of construction are stainless steel, carbon steel and various alloys including Hastelloy, Alloy 20, Monel & Inconel. The floating full port ball lies between seats encapsulated in metal retainer rings. The encapsulation of the seat also gives an option for fire safe trim that meets API 607. Seats are available in TFE, RTFE, CTFE, UHMWPE, PEEK and Stellite metal to satisfy harsh environment and high temperature applications.

AVCO - 3-Piece Trunnion Ball Valve

The AVCO 11000 series is a 3-piece trunnion ball valve designed to complement our floating ball offerings and is aimed at the higher pressure and larger valve size markets. Made from forged alloys, it is most common in 316 stainless steel (A182-F316) and carbon steel (A105), although other alloys are offered upon request. It is available from 2” through 28” with a full port ball to minimize the pressure drop across the valve. The valves are available with a choice of ANSI Class 150 through Class 2500 RF or RTJ flanges or butt weld end connections. The valve design and fire safe feature conform to API 607, API 6D and ASTM standards B16.34, B16.5 and B16.10. The standard valve is the AVCO 11100 Series, but it is also available as the AVCO 11500 Series which is the same valve configured with an extended bonnet for use in cryogenic applications.

AVCO - 3 Piece Cryogenic Ball Valve

The AVCO 1500 series ball valve brings all the features and benefits of our 1100 series valve to the cryogenic market. Designed in accordance with ASME B16.34 it incorporates a single piece cryo bonnet extension bolted to the main valve body. The valve is available off the shelf or with customized bonnet lengths to give greater flexibility and ensure the operator is at a sufficient distance from the pipeline. The seal between the bonnet and valve is achieved with an engineered Flexitallic spiral wound gasket. The cryogenic bonnet houses an extended stem and, unlike most valve manufacturers, the valve stem has double packing/sealing whilst maintaining blow out prevention.

AVCO - Bottom Entry Diverter Ball Valve

The AVCO 1700 series bottom entry diverter ball valve brings high quality and performance to the diverter and mixing valve market. Using a 90-degree diverter ball allows the valve to flow different media into a common port and is often used for flushing lines or as a common valve into a mixing tank. When installed with a V ported ball it offers metered mixing into a common line. The 180-degree ball option gives media swapping capabilities or media diversion. The stem is live loaded with blow out prevention and has online adjustment capability.

AVCO - 3 Way Side Entry Diverter Ball Valve

The AVCO 1800 series side entry diverter ball valve uses a 90-degree ball to swap or divert flow from one port to another or change one media flow to another media flow through a common port. This gives an easy solution to flush systems via one control point or a single point entry into a chemical mix tank and offers long life service in the most demanding conditions. Pressure classes listed in ASME B16.34 up to class 600 are catered for and flange ratings to 600# (ASME B16.5) plus other end styles are available from stock. The stem is live loaded with blow out prevention and has online adjustment capability.

AVCO - V-Ported Flow Control Ball Valve

The AVCO 1900 series V-ported (Vee) flow control ball valve brings together all the advantages of the 1100 series 3-piece ball valve into the precision flow control market. Precise control is achieved by an engineered Vee or slot in the floating ball along with tight tolerances to minimize hysteresis (backlash and judder). Standard balls are available with 15, 30, 45, 60 and 90 degree Vee ports. We also carry blanks that are engineered to suit custom flow characteristics. The 1900 series V port valve also facilitates tight shut-off to act as isolation when needed.

AVCO - Fire Safe Chlorine Ball Valve

The AVCO chlorine service ball valves are the AVCO 1100 Series or 1900 Series 3-piece ball valve modified for chlorine service. All valves comply with Pamphlet 6 from the Chlorine Institute and are appropriate for Chlorine service classes I & IV. The valves are configured using a carbon steel body and ends with a ball, stem and retainers made from either Monel 400 or Hastelloy C. The ball is vented to provide pressure relief during operation. The stem is live loaded with blow out prevention and has online adjustment capability. Sealing occurs at the thrust washer inside the body to reduce the potential for leakage. B7 body bolts and 2H nuts provide added strength and safety.

AVCO - High Pressure Fire Safe Ball Valve

The AVCO HP1100 series ball valve is designed for high pressure applications in the smaller pipe size markets where high performance and quality are essential. The precision machined, three (3) piece design was created by AVCO engineers to provide greater flexibility for butt weld, socket weld, NPT and SAE AS5202 ends up to 6000 psi. It is available in sizes from ½” to 2” and can be produced from 316 stainless steel and carbon steel. The valves are designed and tested to ASME B16.34 and are fire safe tested to API 607. The floating standard port ball sits between precision engineered Delrin® or PEEK seats to cater for harsh environment and high-pressure applications. The stem is live loaded with blow out prevention and has online adjustment capability. The integral mount pad allows for easy mounting of a gear operator, pneumatic actuator or electric actuator. This valve will deliver high performance use in the oil, gas, chemical and power industries.

AVCO - Flanged Two 2-Piece Cast Ball Valve

The AVCO 9100 series ball valve is a flanged two 2-piece cast ball valve with integral flanges in stainless steel 316 (CF8M), Carbon steel (WCB), Hastelloy C (CW12MW) or Alloy 20 materials. It is designed to be fire safe per API 607 and meets the requirements of ASME B16.34 and API 598. Available in ANSI class 150 & 300, the valve features a stem with blow-out proof prevention and full port ball giving minimal pressure drop during operating conditions. The packing is adjustable online to give easier maintenance and minimize plant shutdown requirements.

AVCO - Welded Instrumentation Ball Valve

The AVCO IV1100 series ball valve is a welded instrumentation valve with multiple ports based upon the proven design of our signature 1000 series high performance ball valves. The body and end are machined from bar stock with the body having multiple 1/2” FNPT connections to allow addition of measurement devices. The end connection is available as 1/2” or 3/4” FNPT. It is designed in-house to meet or exceed ASME B16.34 class 900 or 3000 WOG and fully tested to API 598. Materials of construction are stainless steel, carbon steel and various alloys including Hastelloy, Alloy 20 & Monel. The floating ball sits between two encapsulated seats of various materials for long operation in most harsh environment and high temperature applications. The stem is live loaded with blow out prevention and has online adjustment capability. This valve is ideal use when system measurements are required in the oil, gas, petrochemical, chemical and steam industries.
