Webtool offers long-term deployment RROV (Resident ROV) tools designed for up to 120 days continuous deployment. The tools are supplied with custom RROV interfaces allowing the easy storage, activation and recharging of the hydraulic cutters.

The Webtool Cable Retrieval Tool (CRT200), given design verification by international certification body and classification society, DNV GL, allows the safe and controlled recovery of subsea umbilical and cable for offshore oil & gas, and decommissioning projects, up to 8” (203 mm) diameter.

The Webtool Deck Emergency Cutter is suitable for tugs, barges, offshore vessels and tankers; cutting towing lines within 3 seconds of activation in the event a vessel gets into difficulties. Easily deployed, and operated remotely, the cutter is suitable for fibre ropes up to 80mm diameter and steel wire 60-70mm diameter. The Deck Emergency Cutter is intended as a last resort when other measures to prevent damage to the vessel have failed.

Emergency disconnect cutters have become crucial in mission-critical situations. There are growing concerns over the cost of subsea intervention, together with the risk of asset damage in the event of an emergency. Allspeeds have developed a huge range of Webtool integrated cutters and systems to provide rapid emergency disconnection in the event the DP surface vessel moves off-station.
