AlterEcho (alterecho.io) is a robotics and embodied AI company that lets life science experts operate robot “avatars” inside sterile or hazardous environments from a safe location, using immersive remote control. AlterEcho provides a remote-embodiment platform where operators use interfaces like VR-style controls to manipulate robotic arms inside sealed chambers, preserving dexterity while keeping human bodies out of cleanrooms and biohazard zones. The system is designed so each procedure performed through the robot generates rich, time-synchronized telemetry (motion, forces, video, robot states), creating high-quality proprietary datasets to train embodied AI that can later automate parts of those workflows.
