Deciding to concentrate on designing trailers rather than managing the growing business, Dean sold the Aluma to KLM Acquisition Company in 2000.

Since then, Aluma has expanded twice more. In November 2012, the company purchased a 105,000 square foot building in Emmetsburg, Iowa. The facility provided space for warehousing, production, research, and development of the enclosed trailer line. By the end of 2016, Aluma will have added a 43,000 square foot expansion for shipping indoors thanks to Iowa winters and limited space. The expansion is expected to add new jobs and help shorten lead times.

Aluma has come a long way. Currently they build over 300 trailers per week and ship them to all 50 states, Canada, Guam, and Mexico. In 2015 alone Aluma built 15,591 trailers. Aluma is proud to offer an all-inclusive 5-year warranty on all our products, the best warranty in the industry!
