Series 1 hard drive shredders will shred most standard rotary hard drives up to 1″ thick, in addition to backup tapes, DVD’s, cell phones and assorted small e-scrap.  A five-inch wide infeed slot is standard but an eleven-inch wide slot is available for an upcharge. This will allow you to shred tablets, which require that you remove the battery first. Series 1 hard drive shredders will also shred server drives but the rails should be removed prior to hard drive shredding with the AMS-150HD.

Series 2 hard drive shredders will shred most standard rotary hard drives up to 1″ thick, as well as backup tapes, cell phones, DVD’s and assorted e-scrap. These slow speed, high torque shredders are made from solid steel and require three phase power. Series 2 hard drive shredders consist of three models and a choice of three shred widths. All of our hard drive shredders are manufactured in the U.S. and can be stationary or placed in trucks for mobile hard drive shredding. Series 2 hard drive shredders are also available with a dual cutting chamber that allows you to shred rotary hard drives on one side and solid state drives on the other.

Series 3 hard drive shredders will shred most rotary hard drives, circuit boards, cell phones, copier hard drives, laptop & notepad computers, and assorted e-scrap for high volume applications. These slow speed, high torque hard drive shredders are made from solid steel and require three phase power.  Series 3 hard drive shredders consist of two models and a choice of three shred widths. All of our hard drive shredders are manufactured in the U.S. and can be stationary or placed in trucks for mobile hard drive shredding.  Series 3 hard drive shredders, in the twenty horsepower model, are also available with a dual cutting chamber that allows you to shred solid state drives on one side and rotary hard drives on the other.

Series 1 solid state drive shredders will shred SSD’s, cell phones, memory cards, circuit boards & thumb drives to 3/8″ wide particles. This small shred size is required to destroy all of the memory chips that SSD’s use to store data. Series 1 solid state drive shredders consist of two models, multiple options and different voltages, including 120v for the 1.5 HP models without a 3/4″ shred width.  A five-inch wide infeed slot is standard but an eleven-inch wide slot is available for an upcharge. Ameri-Shred’s Sorting Systems are custom designed to meet your specific application and requirements. Basic sorting systems may include free standing conveyors while higher volume systems may include metering systems and/or mezzanines. Recycled paper sold to paper brokers or paper mills has a dollar value. Removal of contaminants from the paper flow can increase the paper’s value by up to sixty percent. A paper metering system maximizes production while reducing labor costs by automatically feeding the shredder at a constant and consistent rate. Above and below ground paper metering systems are available.

AMS-300cc / AMS-500cc / AMS-750cc / AMS-1000cc 250 - 900 Lbs. Per Hour. Series 1 industrial paper shredders are available in 3 to 10 horsepower models.  They look identical but each successive model has more power, a larger drive and greater shredding capacity.  All components, including shafts, cutters and bearings, are sized for the largest horsepower in the series.

AMS-PT Series Shredders. Pierce & Tear Shredders. Shown above with a Series 3 industrial paper shredder. Turn your existing strip cut shredder into a double cut shredding system without doubling your space or reducing your throughput. A forty horsepower AMS-4000 is shown above with a separate hopper fed pre-shredder that discharges onto its in-feed conveyor. These pierce and tear shredders offer customers that are running strip-cut shredders the option of a double cut in order to produce a smaller particle size.

A double cut system utilizes two strip cut shredders. The primary shredder`s cutting assembly is specifically designed to optimize throughput while the secondary shredder provides the security of a smaller cut. These flexible systems can be created using series 3, 4 or 5 shredders.
