AMETEK Spectro Scientific Past Events

The Spectroil M/100 Series Service & User Training is a 3 ½ day (Tuesday – Friday) course that introduces elemental spectroscopy theory and application to oil analysis. The user will gain a better understanding of how the Spectroil M and 100 models, are used to analyze the elemental concentrations of the lubricant. Users will have an opportunity to work hands-on with the instruments including, preparing the unit for analysis, standardizing, calibrating, and cleaning the unit; all critical steps in optimizing the results from the spectrometer.

The course will briefly introduce the theory and use of each instrument but focus heavily on installing the instrument, how to train the customer, how to perform PMs and service common issues in the field. Service representatives will leave this course feeling confident on how to manage their customer’s service expectations and how to work with the factory to quickly and effectively service equipment. This course is recommended for service technicians and managers that represent Ametek Spectro Scientific. This is technical training, not sales training. This is not a customer-facing course.
