ANCO Environmental Services, Inc.
ANCO Environmental Services, Inc. (ANCO) was formally incorporated in 1989 as a spin-off of Annis Fuel Oil Services, Inc. (AFOS). Under the trade name of ANCO Tank and Pump, AFOS managed various aspects of hazardous liquid storage and performed environmental clean up since its inception in 1981. ANCO currently employs a staff of 40 professional, technical and support personnel from its 15,000 feet Berkeley Heights, NJ facility.
Our Commitment to Integrity and Quality
During our 30 years in business, ANCO has completed over 20,000 tank projects and has built a solid reputation for reliability and integrity. We perform our services efficiently, dependably, on time and within budget. We enjoy a client base which comes largely from repeat referrals through a network of lawyers, environmental project managers, property managers and realtors.
In a field where consulting work is often far removed from the actual construction work, ANCO is unique in that we perform both. We offer professional consultation services ranging from remediation and storage tank system design and site assessment to compliance permitting and site remediation. Our environmental construction services include excavation, tank removals and installations and the physical “clean up” of contaminated sites. Use of our own equipment and professional personnel clearly defines project responsibility and gives us an edge in terms of efficiency, cost control and smooth job progression.
Within this web site are descriptions of some of our projects and key personnel experiences. As you will see, ANCO maintains a balance of professional and construction expertise which uniquely qualifies us to perform tank work and environmental remediation from start to completion.
As a licensed professional environmental firm, ANCO holds a New Jersey Bureau of Underground Storage Tanks license #US00024, a PA Department of Environmental Protection Certification #1500 and a NY, NJ & PA hazardous waste transporter license. ANCO is registered as a NJDEP emergency response contractor. Our personnel hold numerous individual NJDEP and professional licenses. Our field personnel are all fully OSHA trained.
ANCO’s $1M broad form comprehensive general liability insurance coverage includes pollution liability, completed operations and professional liability.
