When treating aquatic plants, treat only 1/3 to 1/2 of the water body at a time to avoid fish suffocation caused by oxygen depletion from decaying plants. The use of an aerator will help alleviate the strain put on fish from low oxygen levels in the water. Be sure to comply with all government regulations for use.
