Apurio - Dry Separator
Dry separators are mechanically filtering separators used for air contaminated with dry dust. Dry separators consist of a housing and filter elements (filter media, dry filters) installed inside. The dust-laden air is passed through the filter media (e.g., fiber, felt, or fabric filters). The airborne contaminants are separated by the filter media, with small particles primarily removed through diffusion, and larger particles increasingly through the barrier effect and inertia. There is a distinction between depth filtration (storage filters, non-regenerable) and surface filtration (regenerable filters, regeneration e.g., by compressed air pulses). If the air is not to be discharged outside but returned to the building, a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Airfilter) stage (particulate filter) can be added downstream.
Apurio - MQL Separators
MQL separators are specialized mechanical filtering systems employed in industrial settings where machining with minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) results in air contaminated with dust and coolant lubricant. These systems initiate the filtration process through a pre-filter to capture dust, while a downstream coalescence filter efficiently separates the lubricant. As droplets merge and form larger ones within the filter, gravity aids in their removal, contributing to a self-cleaning mechanism for filter elements. Additionally, when air re-circulation within the facility is required, an optional HEPA filter stage can be integrated for fine particulate filtration. Apurio offers these separators as scalable solutions, from standalone units to large central systems, accommodating diverse industrial needs and ensuring safe, cost-effective exhaust air purification.
Apurio - Oil Mist Separator for Industrial Air Pollution Control
Oil mist separators from Apurio Umwelttechnik are designed to address the contamination of air by coolant lubricants in industrial settings. This technology employs mechanical filtration using coalescence filters, where tiny droplets coalesce into larger drops within the filter medium, facilitating a self-cleaning process by gravity. These systems are adaptable, allowing the incorporation of pre-filters for dust and optional HEPA filters for high-efficiency particulate air filtration, ensuring clean air can be recirculated within facilities. These separators are versatile, serving both small units and large-scale systems, which can be tailored to customer-specific requirements. The separators operate without additional hazardous substances, offering a cost-effective and flexible solution, emphasized by their modular design, which allows easy adjustments to meet changing operational needs. The construction materials for these systems can include various industrial standards to ensure durability and compliance.
Apurio - Venturi Scrubber System for Industrial Air Purification
Venturi scrubbers are an effective solution for industrial exhaust air cleaning, specifically when handling sticky, wet, or abrasive dusts that challenge dry scrubbers. This system leverages the Venturi effect to disperse washing liquid, typically water, into a contaminated air stream, allowing for the transition of air pollutants from the gaseous to the liquid phase. The pollutants-laden liquid droplets are then collected, enabling sedimentation of dust from the washing liquid. The Venturi scrubber can adapt to a broad range of applications, providing simultaneous removal of particulate and gaseous pollutants without the need for filter media. Compliance with the 42nd BImSchV ensures operator adherence to regulatory requirements, including Legionella control. The scrubber's design flexibility allows for customization tailored to specific exhaust air conditions, thus serving as a reliable, full-service solution for pollution control.
Apurio - Nozzle Plate Scrubber for Industrial Air Purification
Nozzle plate scrubbers, a type of wet scrubber, are designed to efficiently remove water-soluble and volatile air contaminants from industrial exhaust streams. These systems operate with washing agents that flow over sieve trays or nozzle plates, interacting with exhaust streams in a counterflow arrangement to maximize contact and efficacy. Advantages include high separation efficiency achieved through multiple stages within a single unit, energy recovery through integrated heat exchangers, and reduced washing agent consumption. They can function as independent units or be integrated with other air treatment processes. Constructed to meet the standards of the 42nd Federal Immission Control Ordinance, these systems are crucial for preventing legionella contamination. Apurio offers customizable solutions suitable for various applications such as separating acidic and alkaline components, ensuring efficient air purification. Key features include recirculation or continuous processes, no need for regular replacement of filter media, and built-in fire and explosion protection.
Apurio - Industrial Air Purification Biofilter
Biofilters are an efficient solution for the purification of industrial exhaust air by utilizing biological processes. These systems leverage microorganisms that reside on organic support materials, such as shredded wood, to decompose airborne pollutants, converting them into benign or low-odor byproducts. The efficacy of these systems is contingent upon suitable conditions, including exhaust air that is warm, moist, and free of grease and dust. A notable application of biofilters is the removal of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and offensive odors. The design allows for both open and closed systems, accommodating various industrial needs. These biofilters offer advantages such as low operating and maintenance costs, straightforward construction, rapid production, and environmentally favorable outputs, primarily carbon dioxide and water. Additionally, they can be manufactured using diverse materials to suit different system components, enhancing versatility and application scope.
