Aqua Equip Technologies LLC (AET)
Aqua Equip Technologies LLC (AET) is a manufacturer and consulting firm for tube settler, biofilm attached growth and aeration diffuser systems. We are working together with the lead manufacturers for drinking water and waste water components in the United States to always supply our customers with state of the art technologies. Wastewater treatment systems using biofilms that grow attached to a support media can be either an alternative or an improvement to the widely used suspended growth activated sludge process. When the system is operated with a single pass and without return sludge it is called FBBR (Fixed bed Biofilm reactor) or MBBR (Moving bed bio reactor). Our mission is to contribute with all efforts to the improvement of water quality worldwide and to raise awareness for the true value of water.

About us
Tube settlers which are also known as plate settlers, inclined plates or lamella clarifiers are used in drinking water and wastewater treatment to improve particle settling in sedimentation processes. AET LLC provides tube settler systems including support structures, tube settler blocks as well as sludge removal and effluent launders. AETs wide range of tube settler / plate settler types offer different channel sizes and shapes, Polypropylene and PVC material as well as onsite assembly options. Finally, the tube settler/ plate settler systems are also available as plug and play standalone units. AET LLC provides biofilm attached growth systems for BOD (biochemical oxygen demand) and nitrogen removal from wastewater. The retrievable fixed film media units can either be designed as single pass (fixed bed reactor) or as return sludge IFAS (Integrated fixed film activated sludge) systems. AETs fixed bed reactor system is available as retrievable, drop-in units or as plug and play stand alone tanks. To learn more about how fixed bed reactors and IFAS system work please find a video explanation here:
Fine bubble diffusers are used for aeration and mixing processes in water and wastewater treatment such as activated sludge, post aeration, grit removal and mixing tanks. AET LLC provides Jaeger aeration disc, tube and strip diffuser systems for different applications such as fixed grit, retrievable/ retractable units, pond aerators or turnkey BNR (Biological Nutrient Removal), SBR (Sequencing Batch Reactor) or CSR (Continuously Sequencing Reactor) technologies. Compared to surface aerators, fine bubble strip diffusers have many advantages regarding oxygen transfer efficiency, power consumption and lifetime.
