We will assess air handling units from air intake to ductwork discharge ensuring plant is clean and in good order.

Ductwork Cleaning Services
Not all supply ducts need cleaning but some will be in a poor condition with heavy accumulated dust in the duct staining ceilings and throwing dirt into the workplace. Imagine inhaling air through a dirty vacuum hose. Extract systems in particular; from toilets, changing rooms, hospitals, isolation rooms and production areas become blocked allowing odours, steam and microbes to accumulate. New installations, particularly in sensitive environments should be cleaned before commissioning in accordance with HVCA DW/TM2 and cleaning should be considered as part of an office refurbishment.
Kitchen Extract Cleaning Services
Cleanliness and fire safety is vitally important in commercial kitchens. A simple clean of the canopy filters and just above the filters is not good enough. Keeping canopy hoods and filters regularly cleaned is relatively simple but ductwork, extract fans and discharge cowls pass through the building fabric and are often inaccessible accumulating extraordinary amounts of flammable grease. The HVCA publish recommended cleaning frequencies but the only way you will know if this is appropriate is to assess the amount of grease accumulation, clean the system and reassess at a later date not exceeding 12 months. Our engineers will be able to assess cleaning requirements based on an initial site assessment.
Water System Clean & Chlorination Services
As part of your responsibility to control the risk of legionellosis: regular cleaning; maintenance and disinfection is required to remove contaminants that may harbour bacteria or act as a nutrient for bacteria to multiply. Cold water tanks accumulate sediment at a varying rate. When the base of the tank is obscured by sediment it is usually time to remove this by chlorinating the tank, draining the water and removing the sediment. The tank is then refilled and chlorinated to 50ppm chlorine for 1 hour. Some tanks require annual cleaning and disinfection while some building managers particularly in high risk properties such as care homes and helthcare departments opt for annual clean and disinfection as part of their legionella control scheme.
