AquaCheck products

The AquaCheck Basic Wireless probe is a capacitance-based soil moisture and soil temperature monitoring device offering up to six sensors per probe. This version of the soil moisture probe is equipped with on-board memory and a battery pack. Data sampling can be set at intervals of 15, 30 or 60 minutes. Battery life of up to 12-18 months can be expected. The data can be uploaded using the AquaCheck wireless hand logger (Shuttle). Application: annual crops, orchards and nurseries.

This battery operated option enables the same benefits as our solar powered device. The unit is attached to each soil moisture probe and using 3G cellular technology. The device automatically transmits data from the probe to soil moisture management software (such as AquaCheckWEB). This device has no location/GPS capabilities.

On farms or production facilities where there is no cellular reception, we are able to provide a wireless hand-held logger, which retains the soil moisture and temperature data. To access collected data, the grower will need to visit each probe using the Shuttle. Up to 120 probes’ data can be stored on the device.  Once data is uploaded to the server it can be viewed using soil moisture management software (such as AquaCheckWEB).

The AquaCheck PRO II RTU (remote transmission unit) offers remote (wireless) access to the AquaCheck BIIW probe and can be used in a typical telemetry network environment.  It also offers compatibility with all the previous versions of AquaCheck Probe (2005-2008).  Up to 8 repeater hubs can be configured in one telemetry cell.
