Filtration Systems for Energy
Filtration Systems are used to remove physical impurities such as sediment turbidity, suspended solids, colour, odour and smell. Filters remove particules/sediments with various sizes and density by holding them with different media layers inside the tank. Filters are backwashed automatically in order to remove these particules/sediments from the filter bed.
Ultrafiltration Systems for Energy
Ultrafiltration (UF) systems are used for fine filtration of surface water, such as seawater, river & lake and well water, using membrane technology. UF Systems are operated in dead end mode, Impurities that are held by membranes are removed by automatic backwash. Membranes are also periodically chemically enhanced backwash with chemicals. Average system recovery is %85 - 90.
Reverse Osmosis Systems for Energy
Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems are used to seperate the dissolved ions from water with membran seperation, in order to get low conductivity fresh water. Reverse Osmosis systems are crossflow membrane seperation units without backwash, Membranes are cleaned in place with chemicals time to time.
Degassifier Systems for Energy
Degassifier systems are used to remove CO2 from water by forced aeration using fan and packing material. Filling materials inside degassifier tower increase the surface of the water in order to achieve better aeration efficient CO2 removal.
Energy Industry Membrane Cleaning Units
Reverse Osmosis systems operate continuously. Membranes are cleaned in place in order to remove contaminants and concentrated salts from the membrane surface.
Mixed Bed Demineralization Systems for Energy
Mixed Bed Demineralization Systems (MBDI) are used to produce demineralized water from low conductivity pretreated water. MBDI Systems are ion exchange resin units designed and operated according to co current principle. Cation and anion resins mixed in one tank are exchanging ions by binding them and then regenerated with acid and caaustic in order to be reused.
ElectroDeionization Systems for Energy
Electro Deionization Systems (EDI) are used to produce ultra pure water using the most advanced technology. EDI Systems contain semi-permeable membrane and resin fillings. Under direct current, ions are moved to anode "+" and cathode "-" poles so the water is purified. EDI Systems operate continiously and have neither regeneration nor backwash requirements. EDI reject, having lower conductivity then raw water, can be returned to RO system inlet.
Bernoulli Filter for Energy
Bernoulli filters provide continuous filtration of pressurized water systems and have self-cleaning feature which based on Bernoulli principle. Filter`smost important equipment is a disc which is mounted on a pneumatic cylinder and provides cleaning process.
