When first established, Aquenal focused on environmental assessment of marine aquaculture operations. This continues to be an important area of our work, however Aquenal`s services now cover all realms of aquatic environmental analysis and management, including risk and impact assessments, baseline surveys and compliance monitoring, introduced pest surveys, marine park biodiversity monitoring, threatened species management, underwater filming using a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) and desktop reviews. Our study environments include streams and rivers, estuaries, lagoons and embayments and both nearshore and offshore areas of the marine environment. Aquenal also offers environmental project management services to coordinate studies across a wide range of ecological and related environmental issues.
