Arata Equipment Company was founded in 1953. The company can be traced back four generations to the 1920`s with Arata Motor Sales. Arata Equipment is a fourth generation family owned company that has been serving the refuse industry in most regions of California and the State of Nevada since the mid-1950`s. Leach Company manufactured the primary product offered by Arata through its early years, but over the years and industry transformations, Arata has expanded its product lines and services.
