Asahi Spectra Co., Ltd. (ASC) was founded in 1970 in Tokyo, Japan by three engineers specializing in vacuum deposition technologies such as ion assisted deposition (IAD) and ion beam sputtering (IBS). These technologies ensure the creation of hard coatings that exhibit excellent environmental durability against humidity, temperature fluctuations, thermal shocks, and vacuum conditions, while maintaining stable spectral performance.
