Assaypro chromogenic activity kits are developed to determine the activity of specific proteins in plasma, serum, and/or other body fluids. Activity is measured using either direct or indirect amidolytic assay formats or via coupling with immunofunctional formats. The amidolytic activity of the protein of interest is quantified using a highly specific substrate which releases a yellow para-nitroaniline (pNA) chromophore. The change in absorbance of the pNA at 405 nm is proportional to enzymatic activity of the targeted protein. Using the highest quality components guarantees the superior performance of our kits.
