Industrial conveyors, including Power & Free type systems, typically use a tow bar to connect the lead trolley to the load carrying trolley(s). Starting and stopping the loaded carrier can impart significant impact forces to the carrier and parts being carried. These impact forces generate noise and can cause damage to the system components and to the parts being carried. The addition of an Autoshock to the carrier tow bar cushions the starting and stopping action. This cushioning effect greatly reduces the impact forces thereby reducing noise, wear and tear on the system and damage to the parts being carried.

ASI Pendulum Conveyors are a significant improvement in design and application over other pendulum conveyors on the market.

ASI’s chain driven live roller (“CDLR”) and belt driven live roller (“BDLR”) conveyor systems are a space-saving solution the delivery of pallets, tires/wheels, and other units.

ASI can provide solutions for vertical and/or horizontal position changes for your product or your manufacturing layouts. Lift / Transfer Automation is a standard product reconfigured to your custom layout and space constraints. High Lift Fork Transfers are used to remove product from one conveyor carrier or skid and transfer it to another conveyor carrier or skid. ASI has built High Lift Transfers with vertical travels up to 70 feet. Horizontal travel is usually in the range of 8-9 feet. High Lift Transfers can be used for “C” vertical path or “Z” vertical path transfer. Custom designed parts contact pickup details, ensuring clean transfer and accurate positioning when handling parts. Service platforms can be provided for the drive. Main and standby drives can be provided for both the fork transfer and lift drives.

As a turnkey baggage handling systems (BHS) provider, ASI can design and provide a full range of baggage handling equipment including: ticket/check-in conveyor, queue conveyor, power turn, spiral turn, merges, high speed diverter, vertical sorter, transport conveyor, plough merge, make-up carousel, chute and roller conveyor.
