ASI - Lift/Transfers System
ASI can provide solutions for vertical and/or horizontal position changes for your product or your manufacturing layouts. Lift / Transfer Automation is a standard product reconfigured to your custom layout and space constraints. High Lift Fork Transfers are used to remove product from one conveyor carrier or skid and transfer it to another conveyor carrier or skid. ASI has built High Lift Transfers with vertical travels up to 70 feet. Horizontal travel is usually in the range of 8-9 feet. High Lift Transfers can be used for “C” vertical path or “Z” vertical path transfer. Custom designed parts contact pickup details, ensuring clean transfer and accurate positioning when handling parts. Service platforms can be provided for the drive. Main and standby drives can be provided for both the fork transfer and lift drives.
Transfers can also be made side to side using a Low Lift Fork Transfer. Low Lift Transfers are limited to a vertical travel of about 30″. Horizontal travel is the same as with the High Lift Transfers.
Absolute positioning with encoders and coded rail and sensors.
PLC controls systems, Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) motor controls, perimeter guarding, safety light screens and sensors, Monitored Power Source technology (MPS).
Highly repeatable, short cycle/High throughput.
Main and Standby drives. Torque proving for positive control of loads. Point-to-point motion (pairing VFD and encoder technology).

- Single fork 1500 lbs.
- Multiple forks with a common drive can be used together to increase capacity.
Fork Extension (both directions)
- Custom Extension length is available.
- Extend Up to 9’-2” from home position, Overall travel 18′-4″
Vertical Travel Range is custom for each application
- Low Lift, 2′-6″ Travel
- High Lift travel is customizable depending on project requirements.
