Jet Throat - Venturi Scrubber

Venturi scrubber is designed to effectively use the energy from the inlet gas stream to atomize the liquid being used to scrub the gas stream. A venturi scrubber consists of three sections: a converging section, a throat section, and a diverging section. The inlet gas stream enters the converging section and, as the area decreases, gas velocity increases. Liquid is introduced either at the throat or at the entrance to the converging section.

Antinox - Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) System

Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) system for flue gas denitrification consists of a NOx reduction process on a catalytic bed using ammonia or urea as reagent. The right operating temperature is secured through a gas-gas heat exchanger and an external heat source. Flue gas is fed through the catalytic bed, where NOx is reduced to form nitrogen and water. The SCR reactor may be charged with an additional layer for toxic organic compound oxidation.

Fiberwind - Candels Mist Eliminators

FIBERWIND™ type mist eliminators of AWS are specifically made to remove mainly submicron liquid or soluble solid particles from an air or gas stream. They are similar to mesh pad mist eliminators except that the filaments are extremely fine fibers, randomly but very closely spaced. FIBERWIND™ mist eliminators of AWS are constructed in a cylindrical form (candle filters) between two concentric open mesh bed formers into which special fibers of various materials are either densely packed or wound or wrapped.

TIDEVANE - Mist Eliminators

TIDEVANE  type mist eliminator types are widely used in industry to separate liquid droplets from gas streams. In all the applications where a contact between liquid and flowing gas is involved, tiny mist droplets are carried away with the gas. TIDEVANE type mist eliminators of AWS are specifically made to remove mainly liquid droplets together with solid particles from an air or gas stream. Unlike filters, which hold particles indefinitely, TIDEVANE mist eliminators of AWS separate fine droplets and drain the liquid away from the gas stream.




Wiremat - Wire Mesh Pads Mist Eliminators

The liquid droplets, due to their momentum, impact on the wires and are separated from the gas flow as they are unable to follow the gas streamlines. MESHPAD are inertial separators because liquid droplets are removed due to their inertial momentum.

AWS - Double Pocket Vanes Packs

Pocket vane technology consists of closely spaced metal plates that form a zig-zag flow path. Unique to these pocket vanes are internal drain channels in a "hollow vane" design that allow collected liquids be shielded from the gas flow and drain without the opportunity for re-entrainment. Gas flow can be either vertically or horizontally.
