BSI - Planar HPGe Detectors

Gamma and X–ray HPGe Spectrometer is intended for the conversion of Gamma and X-ray quantum energy to proportional level. This is accomplished using amplitude electric signals and their amplification for further registration with a nuclear physics apparatus. It is also intended for use as the gamma and X-ray detection component of radiological monitoring for environmental objects in nuclear energetics, industrial production, agriculture, medicine, etc.

BSI - HPGe Handheld Spectrometer

The NitroSPEC the world`s smallest liquid nitrogen cooled Spectrometer which is based on High Purity Germanium (HPGe) semiconductor detectors. The NitroSPEC is providing the complete range of functions and features which are offered by regular laboratory Spectrometer based on HPGe detectors but in a really miniature composition of all major components. During the development of the NitroSPEC, Baltic Scientific Instruments R&D specialists were aimed at HPGe detector, Dewar vessel for liquid nitrogen, MCA with software package and visualization monitor integration in only one miniature monounit to provide easy and comfortable use. Due to the fact that during the measurement no cables are needed, the operator is unrestricted in his mobility. Power supply is no longer an issue as everything is integrated. 

BSI - P-type HPGe Coaxial Detectors

HPGe detectors with extended energy range GCDX provide outstanding performance not only as regular coaxial detectors but also allowing to go lower in energy range down to 3 keV. Thin contact structure of the HPGe detector accompanying with input window made of Beryllium or Carbon fiber guarantee low energy photon transition to the HPGe crystal and its registration. Input window of the detector is integrated into the end cap of the detector by using high-tech vacuum-tight materials

BSI - Alpha Spectrometer

Alpha Spectrometer is designed to transform alpha-particle energies into electrical signals, their amplification, filtration, and transformation into spectral lines and their acquisition for spectral analysis with determination of the intensities of spectral lines. Bench top alpha spectrometer α2 contains 2 measurement chambers, which allows for simultaneous analysis of up to two samples. Every Alpha spectrometer chamber includes alpha particle detector, pressure sensor and preamplifier of signals from alpha detector.

BSI Gamma-Radiation - Micro Spectrometer

The μSPEC gamma-radiation micro spectrometer is a high performance device based on application of CdZnTe semiconductor detectors that operate at room temperature and MCA. The μSPEC allows measuring gamma-radiation spectra and storing it for processing in a PC through the USB port. In the spectrometer accepts three different detector modules equipped with quasi-hemispherical volumes of high quality CdZnTe of either 60 mm3, 500 mm3 or 1500 mm3. The μSPEC is a fully self-sufficient device and consists of the detector, charge sensitive preamplifier, main amplifier, digital signals processor, high and low voltage power supplies and computer interface. It is powered from the computer USB.

BSI - Liquid Scintillation Spectrometer

Liquid Scintillation Spectrometer TRIEL is a device for registration of pulses arising from the interaction of alpha and beta particles with a liquid scintillator. The amplitude of the detected pulses is proportional to the energy of the particles that caused them, the pulse count rate is proportional to the activity of the measured counting sample.
