BAS - Model Dry Type - Drum Magnetic Separators
Dry type magnetic drum separators are advanced equipment used specifically for separating magnetic ore in the grain size range of 0-400mm from other non-magnetic materials, or for the separation of two distinct metal materials with varying magnetic susceptibility. These separators consist of a half-full magnetic drum, a material chute, and optionally a vibro feeder and bunker. The drum speed and the position of the separation flap are critical in optimizing separation quality. BAS Laboratories determine the magnetic field intensities of these separators, which can range from 900 Gauss to 5,000 Gauss depending on the specific magnetic sensitivity of the ore being processed. BAS - Eddy Current Non-Ferrous Metal Separators
Eddy current separators are vital technology used to segregate non-ferrous metals such as aluminum and copper from other mixed metal or non-metal materials. The process involves feeding materials of relevant grain sizes into the separator, where an eddy current is generated by a rotating drum with the appropriate speed and number of magnetic poles, achieving effective separation. Determining the correct drum speed and pole count is critical for optimal performance. BAS - Electromagnetic Lifters
BAS electromagnetic lifters are specialized for efficiently transporting and extracting ferromagnetic metals, particularly from scrap materials.
