BSRN - Visualization Tool for the Information System

First of all, install PanPlot2 on your local machine. A link to PanPlot2 on your desktop is helpful. Download a time series as tab-delimeted text file (e.g. GVN_radiation_2013-01.tab) on your desktop. Drag the icon of this file on the link to PanPlot2 and you will receive a default visualization as below. If desired, alter the visualization as you please.

BSRN - Software Package for the Interactive Exploration, Analysis and Visualization

Ocean Data View (ODV) is a software package for the interactive exploration, analysis and visualization of oceanographic and other geo-referenced profile or sequence data, see http://odv.awi.de.  ODV is freely available and runs on Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and UNIX (Solaris, Irix, AIX) systems.  While PanPlot2 is a useful tool to visualize time series,  profile data - e.g. from radiosondes - can be better displayed using ODV.

BSRN-Toolbox - Station-to-Archive Format Software

The so called station-to-archive format which BSRN uses cannot be understood without reading the BSRN format manual (or see here for a more recent summary). The BSRN-Toolbox was developed to convert the station-to-archive format to more readable dataset tables to be able to plot and check the data.
