With its recognized expertise in polishing, Bertin Winlight offers simple, aspherical and freeform optics assembled and tested in clean rooms (ISO 5 and 6) using high precision assembly and bonding techniques. These flexible assembly technologies, structural or soft bonding as well as molecular bonding, offer a variety of solutions to the challenges of alignment, stability and precision.

Bertin Winlight also designs opto-mechanical and opto-electronic sub-systems, which are integrated into instruments such as spectrometers, LiDARs, imagers and interferometers, for scientific, environmental or government applications.

Bertin Winlight develops opto-mechanical modules such as telescopes, focal planes and high-power multiplexers, which will be integrated into future optical communications systems in low earth orbit (LEO) or geostationary orbit (GEO). These devices are designed to support optical space telecommunication missions (inter-satellite links), particularly in the context of constellations, as well as for direct communications between Earth and Space.
