Bikar - Model BF-PPS - Rubber Expansion Joint for GRP Pipe Systems
BF-PPS design is the most innovative product with more Than 15 years of research in improving design manufacturing processes on rubber expansion joints, developed to manufacture an expansion joint that fits to any customer needs. Initially used in GRP pipe systems (glass-reinforced plastic). Thanks to its great elasticity and ability to absorb movement, its activation forces are minimal. Bikar - Model B-FLEX - Rubber Expansion Joint
This type of rubber expansion joint is a low-cost, high-rotation anti-vibration product to handle vibrations at pressures of up to 16 bar (250 psi) and diameters up to DN 600 mm (24”). This type of compensator was initially designed for air conditioning installations. Metal Expansion Joints
Bikar - Model BM-EX-SI - Metal Expansion Joint with Welding Ends
This expansion joint is made up of a single bellows with its connections. It can absorb movements in any direction, axial, angular and lateral.
Bikar - Model BM-EX-DO - Double Welding Ends Metal Expansion Joints
A universal expansion joint is made up of two single bellows separated by a central pipe spool and its welding ends. The main aim of this construction is to achieve great absorption capacity of axial and lateral movements. This capacity depends on the bellows design and the intermediate spool length, the greater the length the greater the absorption capacity. Possible dilations on the intermediate spool are likewise absorbed by the two bellows. This design cannot withstand pressure forces and must be supported by duly designed fixed anchorages.
Bikar - Model BM-SI - Metal Expansion Joint with Flanges
This metal expansion joint consists of a single bellows with flanges. It can absorb movements in any direction: axial, angular, and lateral. It is mainly used to absorb axial elongations in the longitudinal direction of straight-pipe systems, although depending upon its design, it can also absorb small amounts of lateral and angular movement. This is the simplest type, but it requires that the pipe be controlled (anchored and guided), so that the expected movements are directed in the appropriate direction for proper functioning.

This is a fabric expansion joint characterized by its economical use, installed in small spaces to absorb vibrations and compensate for limited movements in pipes. It is manufactured with all types of laminates and fabrics, based upon the need for resistance to temperature, pressure, and gases.
