Aeration chambers utilize fixed film reactors with high specific surface area media to foster bacterial floc formation and promote aerobic digestion. Advanced flow control baffles create anoxic zones for denitrification and phosphorus removal. The clarification chamber facilitates the settling of bacterial flocs, with settled sludge cycled back to primary stages. Treated effluent is temporarily stored in pump chambers, and polishing filters further purify it through soil or sand filtration, achieving high nutrient and contaminant reduction.
