bioCycle - Domestic Wastewater Treatment System
The bioCycle™ System represents an advanced and comprehensive solution for domestic wastewater treatment, ensuring a high level of efficiency and environmental safety. This system is designed with several innovative features, including an above-ground blower box that must be well-ventilated to prolong the blower's lifespan. The system provides easy access for inspection and maintenance with a large access manhole. In case of power outages or pump malfunctions, the bioCycle™ System's 4,000-litre freeboard capacity allows it to continue handling effluent for up to 48 hours. Additionally, its unrivaled sludge storage and 2,800-litre aeration chamber ensure a long retention time, enhancing treatment consistency and performance. The extended de-sludging period, possibly up to 10 years, is achieved through anaerobic digestion that significantly reduces sludge volume. Moreover, the system is backed by a 30-year guarantee, provided it is installed and maintained as specified by bioCycle™. This system also features multiple diffusers and a range of high-quality components, such as concrete tanks, air blowers, and control panels, all designed to deliver reliable and efficient wastewater treatment.

1. Above Ground Blower Box
The air blower must be located in a well-ventilated area. Blowers located within the treatment system will have a decreased life span.
2. Large Access Manhole
Allows easy access to all parts of the system for inspection and servicing.
3. 4,000 Litre Freeboard Capacity
In the event of power failure or pump malfunction allows the system to continue to receive effluent for up to 48 hours without overflowing or discharging untreated effluent into the environment.
4. 3000 Litre Capacity – Up To 10 Years
Unrivalled sludge storage allows for anaerobic digestion, reducing the sludge volumes by up to 50% this results in an extended de-sludging period of 10 years.
5. 2,800 Litre Aeration Chamber
Longer retention times means higher and more consistent level of treatment. Multiple diffusers in the aeration chamber greatly enhance the performance by reducing the dead spot’s within the chamber.

EN 12566-3 Results
EN 12566-3 is the new standard for wastewater treatment systems up to a population equivalent of 50. The bioCycle™ system underwent 38 weeks of testing in a EN 12566-3 accredited test facility to assess its treatment efficiency, structural behavior and water tightness. On successful completion of testing the bioCycle™ system was awarded the following CE mark.
