BioKube systems are uniquely suited for hotels and resorts due to the strict demands in order to fulfill the guests exspectations: Absolutely no smell nor noise as per the guest’s expectations. Must fulfill the strictest requirements to ensure good environment for the guests. Often the guests are at the hotel to have vacation in connection with the water surrounding the hotel. A hotel with high and low seasons will have large variations in the number of guests. The system must handle this without any problems, and this capability is unique for BioKube patented fixed-film technology.

Small cities, gated communities and hotels are internationally one of BioKube main markets. The systems are straightforward to install and easy to maintain. A BioKube system does not require full time staff to operate it. We recommend preventive maintenance for small systems up to 100 PE once a year. For larger systems up to 500 PE 4 times per year and bigger systems monthly. It should also be noted that all BioKube systems can be monitored remotely and alarm can be sent as SMS to the service technician.

BioReactor large systems are typically in capacities ranging from 1,000 - 10,000 PE. Regardless of size, all BioReactor systems are delivered as pre-built units that are mounted in on-site pre-built concrete tanks. This makes installation of even a large system quick and straight forward. Installation is done mainly by local labor. All service of even large BioReactor systems can be done by local labor.

BioKube systems wil also treat some types of industrial wastewater. BioKube systems will for instance treat wastewater containing organic material. This is typically wastewater from the agricultural industry. BioKube can also remove certain types of chemicals. An example is wastewater from a car workshop that contains chemicals and heavy metals. The chemicals are absorbed into the bacteria’s cell and removed as sludge (dead cell) during the treatment.

Treated wastewater fom a BioKube can be reused. The typical situations where the treated wastewater is reused are: Irrigation: A good and safe alternative for watering plants and flowerbeds. Toilet flushing: Use treated wastewater to flush toilets and cut costs on water bills. Car/truck washing: A popular option as this is one of the largest consumers of water. Washing of tools: An effective use of treated wastewater is to wash dirty tools. Laundry: Treated wastewater is completely safe, clear and odorless and ideal for is laundry.
